Khartoum – Minister of Tourism, Engineer, Mohamed Abdul Kareem met, Monday, Minister of Tourism and Culture of the State of Central Darfur, Abdul Al-Baghi Joda Affandi in the presence of the ministry’s Undersecretary.
He landed the role being played by the state to support tourism and the exploitation of the available resources in this connection, adding that the state enjoys important location in wild life areas along the borders with the Republic of Central Africa.

Minister of Tourism Reviews Holding of Al-Bottana Festival

Minister of Tourism, Engineer, Mohamed Abdul Kareem Al-Hid received, Sunday, Minister of Animal Resources of Gadarif State .
The meeting discussed the coordination and preparations for holding Al-Buttana Annual Festival in the state next September where the minister affirmed his ministry’s support to all aspects of touristic activities.
The minister added that the holding of the festivals will promote tourism and realize positive objectives in cultural and social fields in the country .

New Archeological discoveries in Blue Nile State

The National Archeology and Museums Corporation , through the fund provided by Dams Implementation Unit  (DIU), has managed to discover and record 69 archeological  sites in the Blue Nile State along the two banks of Blue Nile River.  The discoveries are part of DIU efforts to save the historical heritage before the completion of the heightening of the Resoaris dam.
