Cloudy rains in the Ethiopian plateau enhances River Nile Flood

The High Commission for flooding at the Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity has indicated that that water level at Merowe - Dabba Dongola, and Khashm Al-Quirba will witness big increase while Damazin – Sennar sect will witness slight increase and Sennar – Khartoum will be stable.
The committee said in its daily statement the water levels will continue to rise in all water stations, according to data from the main stations and satellite images, which indicate the presence of cloudy rains in the Ethiopian plateau.
The Committee reviewed the situation water along the upper course of the main Nile and Blue Nile, calling on citizens and authorities concerned to take the necessary measures to protect lives and properties
