The Minister of Tourism, Antiquities and Wildlife, Mohamed Abdul-Karim Al-Hud, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mahjoub Atta al-Mannan has inspected progress of work of renovation and modernization of the National Museum.
The minister was also briefed on the efforts being exerted to establish an Islamic Hall, stressing the need to expedite the implementation of this work, which reflects the country’s well-established Islamic civilization since ancient times, underscoring the need to focus on the sector of museums and monuments because of their importance in reflecting the dimension of civilization and cultural heritage through periods of history and its positive contribution to the economic, social and cultural development in the country.
