Darfur Rebel Leaders Reject a Proposal from Southern Sudan

Darfur armed movements’ leaders, ally to revolutionary front, and have rejected government of southern Sudan proposal stipulates for accepting Nasreldin AL Hadi AL Mahadi, and AL Toum Haju, as members to revolutionary front. The proposal was presented, at RF meetings in Kampala. Sources from RF, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told (smc) that, the proposal was coordinated between southern Sudan state, and Mubarak AL Fadil AL Mahadi, who is currently, on a visit to Kampala. AL Mahadi, according to sources, had led intense consultations, with some south Sudan ministers, to convince RF on the importance of accepting the membership of the two mentioned Sudanese nationals. However, Darfur leaders loyal to RF believe that, southern Sudan insisted on acceptance membership of the two mentioned persons, as part of its pressure, sought to restructuring the revolutionary front. But, sources say that, Darfur leaders noted that, both Nasreldin and Haju, are not competent to work at fields.
