The Wali (governor) of Gezira State Prof. Al-Zubair Bashir Taha discussed Monday at the Guest House with the Indonesian Ambassador, in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the State Engineer Abdallah Mohamed Osman, the Minister of Social Affair Dr. Al-Harith Abdal-Gadir and a number of executive leaderships, issues relevant to the cooperation and the available investment opportunities in the state.
Prof. Taha briefed the Indonesian ambassador on the capabilities and potential resources the state enjoys, the available investment opportunities in the agricultural sector and the investment projects in the fields of water, roads, airports, bridges and industrial projects.
The Indonesian ambassador got acquainted with the advantages and guarantees of investment, advantages of land allocation and granting of investment projects in the state.
Prof. Taha stressed the depth and strength of relations between Sudan and Indonesia, referring to vast resources the state enjoys.
