The Minister of Industry, Engineer Abdul Wahab Mohamed Osman has discussed establishment of a factory for sugar industry in South Darfur in the area of Wadi Kaya ( Kaya Valley) to produce 20,000 tons of sugar per year in an area of 6,000 acres at a cost of $ 30 million.

The Ministry of Culture is due to hold during October 6 – 18 Khartoum International Book Exhibition.
The exhibition’s director, Fatima Mohamed Ahmadoan, said that the objective of the exhibition is to provide educational and cultural books as well as scientific references for people, easily and at reasonable prices.

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, received a message of condolences from the Chadian President, Idriss Debby Itno, in which he expressed his sincere condolences on the Martyrs of the Sudanese nation in the recent plane crash in Talodi area in South Kordufan State.
