President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has expressed his condolences to the Sudanese people on martyrdom of the federal Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Engineer Ghazi Al-Sadiq, and others in crash of the plane carrying them to Talodi town, South Kordofan State, when they were en route to congratulate the town’s citizens on Eid Al-Fitr.

President of the Republic, Field marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has congratulated the Sudanese people and the Islamic nation in General on Eid Al-Fitr.
In an address he directed on the occasion, President Al-Bashir hoped that the Sudanese people will achieve peace, security, stability and progress.

More than three thousand (3,000) refugees who were displaced by the Ugandan Lord’s Resistance Army rebel group – the LRA – are facing a severe food shortage in Ezo County – Western Equatoria State of Southern Sudan.

The refugees who fled from the rebel fighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic are depending on small food supplies provided by the Ezo county administration.

The Presidency of the Republic has eulogized the federal Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Engineer Ghazi Al-Sadiq, and others who martyred Sunday morning in a plane crash near Talodi town, South Kordofan State.
The late Ghazi Al-Sadiq and his companions were en route to Talodi to perform the Eid prayer and to congratulate the citizens there on Eid Al-Fitr occasion.
The plane has crashed on Hajar Al-Nar Mountain due to the bad weather conditions.

The Ministry of Commerce and Investment in South SUdan has cancelled bids to transport 30,000 metric tons of maize grain from Zambia.

Minister Garang Diing Akuong says the Ministry will instead hand select a company to transport the grain because the companies that applied for the tender did not meet the required standards.

The Zambian government pledged to donate 15,000 metric tons of maize grain shortly after Independence.
