Kuwaiti Aid Supports 40,000 Poor Families

Kuwait Direct Aid Office in Sudan has agreed to support thousands of poor families in Khartoum and South Kordufan States to meet needs of Eid Al-Fitr through the distribution of Zakat to about three thousand families.
The aid which was sponsored by Africa Muslims Committee was distributed to 40,000 poor families, persons with special needs and students.

Head of the Abyei Oversight Committee, a territory disputed between Sudan and South Sudan, Al Khair Al Faheem, said reaching understanding on the area during the upcoming talks in Addis Ababa by the end of this month is dependent upon taking into consideration the mutual interests of the Misseriya and Dinka tribes.

In a visit the second of its kind to Israel, a delegation from Sudan Liberation Movement Abdul Wahid faction (SLM-AW) arrived in Tel Aviv on 3rd August comprising spokesperson Mohamed Abdul Rahman and Secretary of Peace Secretariat Abdul Latif Abdul Rahman Abakar.
