An economic report issued recently revealed that the direct flow inter-Arab investments, during the last 17-years between 1995 and 2011, reached about 178.5 billion dollars from which 7 countries attained 82 % at a value of 144.4 billion dollars including Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Abu Garda Meets Brazilian Ambassador
Gms: Khartoum, August 2 (SUNA)
Minister of Federal Health, Bahr Idriss Abu Garda received at his office, Tuesday, the Brazilian Ambassador to Sudan and reviewed with him means for development of health cooperation between the two countries.
The Brazilian diplomat affirmed the firmness of the Sudanese-Brazilian relations in all fields, renewing his commitment over strengthening of health cooperation with Sudan.

ASC Proposed Postponement of Talks

Abyei supervision commission (ASC) has presented a proposal to AU for suspending talks over the formation of civil institutions for Abyei area to August 10. Co chair of the commission Al Khar Al Fahim told (smc) that the proposal aims at achieving additional achievements as regard to forming police, legislative council and the administrative body as well. Al Fahim noted that a copy of the proposal was also submitted to southern Sudan co chair Luka Byoung.
