IMF commends the recent economic measures

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) lauded Tuesday the economic measures adopted by the government of Sudan to reduce the impacts of south Sudan secession in July 2011, describing the measures as important.
IMF said, in statement it issued, that IMF praised the strenuous efforts exerted by the Sudanese authorities in recent weeks to mitigate the economic impacts of the exit of south Sudan oil.

Export of sheep from North Kordofan State to Libya begins

First plane has left Obied Airport Wednesday carrying 1000 heads of sheep worth 4 million pounds to Kufra airport in Libya.
The Chairperson of the Union of Businessmen in North Kordofan State and export supervisor Malik Al-Sheikh Haj Mahmoud has attended the launch of the operation in the presence of the concerned government organs.

The spokesman of the Sudan delegation for the negotiations in Addis Ababa, Dr Mutrif Siddiq, announced that the two sides will enter into the direct African Union High-level Implementation Panel-sponsored negotiations Thursday which will center on production, transport and import of oil.
He said in a press statement he negotiations since yesterday have been tackling security issues but the two sides will discuss matters pertinent to petroleum tomorrow Thursday.

Blue Nile Governor Affirms Commitment to Setting up Courts and Attorneys across Localities

Lieutenant General Al-Hadi Bushra, the Governor of the Blue Nile State has affirmed the state government’s commitment to setting up compounds of courts and attorneys across the state to spread justice. This came while his meeting with Abdel Fateh Suleiman Abdel Fateh, the head of acting legal department.
The meeting urged arrangements for inaugurating attorneys and courts in localities. The governor ordered the necessity for completing procedures for inaugurating the attorneys and courts.
