Taha launches horticultural rehabilitation project in Khartoum State

The First Vice President of the Republic Ali Osman Mohamed Taha has launched the project of horticultural rehabilitation in Khartoum State and the floating plunger at Al-Sulait Canal to remove siltation and sediment in the period of receding of Nile waters.

Al-Qoussi reviews counts of his release from Guantanamo detention

Ibrahim Al-Qoussi who was released from Guantanamo detention Wednesday denied that his release has connection with killing of Al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden.
He said he had reached a deal with Americans to confess with the charges for receiving a specific judgment in return, according to the American judicial system.
Al-Qosi said that he had served the term of his sentence of 10 years and five months which expired on July 7.
