National, International Voluntary Organizations Launch Relief Convoys to South Kordufan

Khartoum, June 17 (SUNA) – The Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) in North Kordufan has launched relief campaign to the military confrontations-affected people in South Kordufan in coordination with the Humanitarian Aid Commission in the two states
The SRCS’s Executive Director, Dr. Salem Mohamed Ali said the relief campaign includes 162 metric tons of food items which will be delivered to 10,000 family in Rashad and Abu Kharshula localities
He indicated to the contributions of the WORLF Food Program (WFP) and the UNICEF in the relief campaign, adding that the national and international voluntary organizations will continue their humanitarian programs by launching the next relief convoy to Talodi.
