The Minister of Industry Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz has welcomed the developing economic and industrial relations between Sudan and Sri Lanka

This was expressed at his meeting with the Sri Lankan Minster of Industry and Commerce in his office at the ministry on Thursday

Dr. Al-Jaz said that the visit represented the beginning of joint cooperation relations between the Sudan and Sri Lanka for the benefit of the two friendly countries

Dr. Al-Jaz informed the Sri Lankan Minister on the available investment opportunities in the fields of food industry, engineering, textile, pharmaceutical and mining industries

Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan Minister of Industry and Commerce appreciated the firm relations between Sudan and Sri Lanka, and expressed his pleasure to visit Sudan

He pledged to work for consolidating the bilateral relations and the cooperation between Sudan and his country

He invited Dr. Al- Jaz to visit Sri Lanka toward pushing ahead the bilateral relations
