The Ministry of Industry, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jazz, has affirmed the need of educating farmers about the practical means to plant the oil seeds to achieve the highest possible production per feddans, in coordination with the Agricultural Research Authority

The Minister said it was imperative to follow the scientific research methods in field of planting oil seeds

Addressing the plenary meeting organized by the Oil seeds Self-reliance committee on Saturday; Dr. Al-Jazz pledged to follow up the operation of planting and harvesting the oil seeds, promising to achieve self-reliance in edible oils

The Director of the Agricultural Research Authority, Professor Mohamed Al-Hassan has affirmed readiness to implement scientific research in the plantation of oil seeds, especially the cotton, groundnut and sunflower seeds in coordination with the farmers.
