Demarcation of Boundaries Estimates Budget for SDG19m

Sources told press that the technical commission for demarcation of boundaries between north and south Sudan estimated its steering budget for nearly SDG19m. The sources asserted that the said budget was endorsed by the presidency of the republic and referred to the ministry of finance. The source told reporters that the estimated figure is reasonable and could be made available by the ministry.

The Upper Nile state’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Peter Lam Both, told Radio Miraya that security officials found 200 heavy weapons in Malakal on Saturday. Both said that a general search was undertaken following the recent insecurity in Malakal town.

An informed source has reiterated Sudan’s support efforts for reshaping the Security Council. In the statement to SUNA, the source the concerned authorities support any move to grant Africa a seat in the Security Council, saying Sudan encourages equal representation of the continents in the Council. One Thousand Former Combatants Reintegrated in W. Darfur

SAF in JIUs complete redeployment to North

The Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) has completed the re-deployment to its soldiers serving in the Joint Integrated Units (JIUs) to the North, according to the JIUs Commander Major General Marial Chanoung.
