Government, SLM sign final document of security arrangements

The Government and Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) Thursday signed the document of the final agreement on completing the implementation of the security arrangements as stipulated by Abuja Peace Agreement for Darfur

Norwegian Consul in Juba calls on GoSS to develop oil policy

The Norwegian Consul in Juba, Fredrik Ekern, has called on Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly to develop an oil policy that guides independent management of petroleum resources. Addressing the members of the Assembly on Wednesday, Ekern said that  the policy should enable petroleum resources to be used for economic prosperity and human development.

He added that petroleum is a non- renewable resource that should be managed well.
