This book holds has two titles. The first one is the one given to it by the author: “Spaces of love and respect between Islam and Christianity”. The second one is that it brings together two scholars (one of them is a Moslem and the other is Christian). The author is a famous bishop, Father Filio South
Faraj. The other scholar is Professor Abdul Hadi Tameem. What brought the two scholars together is the subject of the book, spaces of love and respect between Islam and Christianity. The author chose a Moslem scholar to write the introduction of the book. He did.
Both scholars are interested in such a subject:” spaces of love and respect between Islam and Christianity”. The book highlights the good relations between the two religions and hence between their followers. Tameem read the book and wrote one introduction to it and another to the author. He said that Father Faraj was a distinguished man since his high school. Then he indulged positively in politics and social work. He is a prominent figure in the Christian community. Yet he was one of founders of the National Congress Party. He was honored by so many bureaus; one of them was Omdurman Islamic University. He is one of the greatest preachers of cooperation between Moslems and Christians. His book is an embodiment of this characteristic of him. The book covers so many subjects and concerns of the Sudanese society. It speaks about abortion, the Sudanese nationalism, and intellectual issues. He writes about Christianity in the Holy Koran and about the great Moslem leader who opened Egypt, Amr Ibn Al-Ass. He writes about ethics and the famous Sudanese scholar Abdullah Al-Tayyib. “This book is like the Rainbow, saturated with meanings,” Professor Tameem wrote. The language of the book is very elegant. The author tackles subjects that no one before him came across.
