Colonel Al-Mahdi Lauds UN Humanitarian Assistances to Sudan

The Assistant of the President of the Republic Colonel, Abdul Rahman Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi was briefed on the progress of work and the humanitarian assistances extended by the United Nations specialized agonies to the needy population in Sudan .

Agreement between government and United Nations on Relief operations within borders

The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, Dr. Suleiman Abdul Rahman has said that Sudan and the UN shared identical views on not extending relief items to the war affected -people from outside borders and carrying out vaccination campaigns in the rebel controlled-area from outside but within the borders of the State of Sudan .

Karti Receives Credentials of Nominated Ambassadors of Belarus and Ghana

The Foreign Minister, Ali Ahmed Karti, Tuesday received a copy of the credentials of the nominee Ambassador of Belarus to Sudan, resident in Cairo, Igor Fissenko, prior to presenting the credentials to the President of the Republic.
Karti and Ambassador Fissenko have discussed progress of the relations between the two countries.
